Double Pass is an entertaining team passing game where the players pass the objects behind and in front of them, travelling in two different directions.
Age: All ages
No. of players: 10 or more
Equipment: Two identical piles of objects - one for each team (examples of objects are marbles, pebbles, coins, small toys, beans or a deck of cards could be used)
Time: 10+ minutes
Aim: To be the first team to return all of the objects to the leader.
1. Preparation: Collect two identical piles of objects or divide the decks of cards among the two groups.
2. Divide players into two equal teams. Each team sits in a line on the left of its team leader. Players sit shoulder to shoulder with the two teams facing each other.
3. Place the pile of objects beside the two team leaders. On the command "Go!", the leader begins passing the objects, one after the other down the line. Players must only use their right hands until the object reaches the end of the line. Then players must use their left hands to return the objects behind their backs.
4. As the objects arrive back at the beginning again, the leader places them in a pile of returned objects.
5. The winner of the game is the first team to return all of its objects.
Easter Variation: Use a pile of small Easter eggs as the objects.
